The Lord of the Rings: Shadow of the East
Yet the lies that Melkor, the mighty and the accursed, Morgoth Bauglir, the Power of Terror and of Hate, sowed in the hearts of Elves and Men are a seed that does not die and cannot be destroyed; and ever and anon it sprouts anew, and will bear dark fruit even unto the latest days.
It’s the year 1641 of the Third Age of Middle-earth.
After four years of devastation, the Dark Plague passed over the Sundering Sea. With it went the souls of millions, leaving behind cold hearths and empty hearts. Weary and weakened, the kingdoms of the Dúnedain waver in their vigilance against the Enemy. Brigands prowl the roads, revears haunt the borderlands, Orcs multiply under the mountains.
And in the forgotten places of the world, the Shadow stirs anew.
